The Horsemanship program is a fun and rewarding way to learn the importance of building strong relationships. Horsemanship requires communication, respect and trust between the horse and rider. The Horsemanship program includes:
- Arena Riding
- Trail Rides
- CHA Riding Lessons
The staff members at El Rancho de Paz are trained and certified through the nationally recognized Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) for safety.

events Fall Riding Clubs offer riding instruction for the beginner through advanced riders. Lessons consist of 5 weeks of riding instruction in the CHA levels. Session 1 begins September 14th. Session 2 begins October 18th.

Horses always go more willingly toward the stables than away from them. This is because they have a strong homing instinct. They have a good sense of where home is and a strong desire to be there.
